After experiencing + two decades of leading and helping leaders lead business/mission critical initiatives, adoptions, and transformations for several of the the world’s leading organizations (household brand names we all know), educational institutions/companies, and government programs/initiatives… authoring three (3) leadership / transformation books… creating the TYIIR System©… the core element for change success, leading a change, adoption, or transformation boils down to what I call
Self-Realization to Self-Actualization

Think of it this way, an organization’s most critical resource is its people, how they think and do. When an organization undergoes change, what happens with its people? Everyone is going to have to observe, absorb, shape, and put into action, thinking and doing in a new way by comparing and contrasting the current state to the future state.
Self-Realization = observe , absorb
Self-Actualization = shape, put into action (evolve)
Everyone’s moment of Self-Realization, when they self realize that they have to change, will come at a different time. Next comes Self-Actualization, the understanding of what changes they need to make and putting those changes into action which will occur when the individual is ready to change.
To succeed with your change initiative, adoption, or transformation, you and your team have to successfully lead, manage, orchestrate, and synthesize a collective of individuals as they SR2SA. What that means, and how to achieve success is what I can do for you and your organization as an individual contributor or as a member of the Intelligence Catalyst team. If you would like, myself or my team and I can also teach, mentor, and guide you and your organization on how to succeed. At present, GenAI + Agentic AI adoptions are the focus, where in years past Agile – DevOps – DevSecOps adoptions, automating workflows, and Digital transformations were top of mind.

Over the past few years, I was curious if there was a commonality between successful leaders and successful organizations around the world. The good news to report is, there was. The commonality is an action taken by successful leaders and individuals supporting the organization… that action being to learn how energy plays a role in their life. Some individuals called this getting in touch with their inner self, some said understanding their spiritual side, while others called this taking care of their physical, mental, and energy wellness.
Last year, 2024, Ken Russell and I wrote a leadership book titled Transact, Transform, Transcend, Becoming a Thoughtful Leader: Stories from the Journey. In this book we characterized this successful leadership style as being a Thoughtful Leader.
Combining the lifestyle habits of these successful leaders, individuals, and the concept of a thoughtful leader, in 2025, I have created the live experience titled LLIIVEE: a thoughtful living experience.
This live experience is designed to have you walk in the shoes of those successful leaders and individuals, experiencing first-hand, “what” and “how” they take action, learning about energy to consistently and repeatedly succeed.
What differentiates myself from other leaders is my attention to wellness as I lead or coach, mentor, and train others to lead… especially when leading a change initiative.
Today’s workforce is under tremendous stress and has been for several years. As we change or evolve the organization’s way of thinking and doing, we will experience teammates who will need wellness help. As part of my network, I have teamed up with several wellness organizations, both virtual and an on-site retreat location, who provide a variety of information, knowledge, resources, and services to help our teammates with their physical, mental, and energy wellness needs. The goal is to provide our teammates what they need, when and where they need it so they can be engaged and successful in flowing value to the customer, contributing, being there for their family or those they care about, and most importantly of all, improving their quality of life to be the best version of themselves 🙂
